every question for the FABI test is somewhere in this book study the questions at the end of each chapter and go find the answer and explanation for the questions you got wrong. the only negative thing about this book is there is too much information and I feel it gets to far off into areas that are not immediately relevant to home inspection. all great information, but i feel they could have stay'd more focused on the information in that chapter and shortened some of the book up. For instance; they talk about the proper types of wood used for building house, which ones should be used, where and this and that, all great information. but they get way to in-depth, they go into where the wood can be found growing who manufactures it, specific chemicals used to preserve it. but over all good book and a great reference guide to answer just about any questions you have.
Used the book for an inspection class. It was very informative. The only con was that a lot of the information pertains to housing up north and down here in Miami is completely different.
