"Another wonderful book by the great Dennis P. Eichhorn. Sadly, this one is his last as he passed away shortly after it was released. Denny's last book, Real Good Stuff, was cited by Bill Kartalopoulos in his book "The Best American Comics 2015" as one of the Notable Comics of the year. [...]

I hope that I am forgiven for the title of this review. I know that a lot of people will call out Harvey Pekar as the best autobiographical comic book writer in the world, but as much as I liked Pekar, his stories didn't pack the punch of Eichhorn's. His were stories that were really worth telling and talking about. Eichhorn was nominated for multiple Eisner Awards for his Real Stuff comic books of the 90s and it was a shame that he didn't win. For my money, Dennis was the very best of the game and his work is worthy of being remembered."

  • We know this area of Bremerton, so the tales were familiar, yet unique. This is his last book published before Dennis died, this year.
  • I really enjoy autobiographical comics. I always liked reading Dennis Eichhorn's comics on Boing Boing. I just wish it was a bit longer. Still liked it though.
  • LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!
